Dont really need the run around
I'll be moving to NYC in a few month to be with my BF who currently lives there in Springfields Gardens.
I want to move into a new place. It can be in that area or somewheres else in the city. I would like for him to look around for us first but He's too busy with work (EMT) and medic training classes that that would be impossible.
do anyone know where I can began looking once I get out there?

I live near Springfield Gardens and I can tell you that most of the housing available over there are single or two family homes, not apartment types. So you may rent the upstairs/downstairs of a 2 family house which in that area is between $1400-$1800 for a 2 or 3 BR home.
Check on craigslist if you like. Or google and contact a broker who works in the area.
