Woo hoo. This week has creeped by, and it definitely hasnt helped that I've been working 11 hour days :0( Today I get off early though, and we're hitting the road to DC. Send us some vibes we dont hit too much traffic please.
Last night we went out to dinner, and as we were walking to the car DH said "Woah, you totally look pregnant right now!" Thanks babe, as if I didnt know that I just did work on hibachi. womp womp.
Not much going on today, just excited that the high is 86 instead of 96!

Brandi--While in DC if you want to grab coffee or lunch let me know! I think it is too cute that DH can see the pregnant belly. Are you planning on sharing the news with his family this weekend?
I don't have a whole lot going on this weekend. I finished reading the Help yesterday and started a quick read called "Heaven is for Real: A little boys astounding story of his trip to heaven and back". Tomorrow DH has a softball tournament that I will go to for part of the day and then a trip to target is needed. I am looking for ideas on what to do if anyone has any...

Amanda-- I finished the Help yesterday too! I love it! I can't wait to see the movie in a week.
Today is going to be a crappy work day, I'm just ready for it to end already. But at least it's Friday and I have the weekend to look forward to. I have a strange depression since we've gotten back from vacation, and I blame it on this bizarrely bad week. I'm hoping the weekend will help me get out of this funk and back into the swing of things! We have so much to be excited about, but all I want to do is just sleep and mope. I also need to get my ass back to the gym!

I was so glad to wake up to rain today. Ok well it's actually just drizzle right now but I'm fine with that. It's suppose to cool down some. TGIF! I am so ready for the weekend. I just want to sleep. And maybe find some new shoes and go to Target. The list is growing.
Brea I hear ya. After the wedding I felt like I was kind of in a funk. Things will get better. Is there any update on the house?

Not yet. Our loan officer emailed yesterday saying we should hear today about the appraisal review and to hang tight. Hopefully they got it up a bit and the sellers will come down the rest of the way

Tonight we don't really have plans, we are grilling and having corn on the cob. Then tomorrow my parents and sister are coming up and we are going tubing in the river. Other than that no plans, which I am loving since so many of our weekends this summer have been booked and its been tough to just relax!

Hey ladies!
Happy Friday! I have been running around like a mad woman trying to get all my school stuff straightened out for the fall. It's been a PITA but I know it will be worth it.
So cute you ladies are having an improptu GTG this weekend! Have so much fun!!
Brea - I totally know what you mean. Like Kelly said, I had the same depressive feeling when we got back from the wedding. I kept thinking "Ok, so now what?" Since we are waiting awhile on kids and are not planning to buy a house yet, I kinda felt like I didn't have anything big and exciting to look forward to. Now with having to go back to school and work, I have a full plate. Try to stay positive about the house and before you know it you will be so busy getting ready for that AND your wedding!

I am SOOOOO glad it's the weekend tomorrow. I just got into a fight with my mom at work. So f'ing over working here. All I do is get yelled at. I told my office manager that I may be looking for another job. F it. I'm done. They want to talk about how I wouldn't talk like that to a boss. Well I'm sick of you talking to me like I'm 12 and I know other bosses wouldn't treat me like that!! I'm turning my phone off this weekend to them and will only talk to my sister.
Tonight we're hitting up a sports bar for a few drinks with friends, then tomorrow I'm going to get thank you notes cracking and clean house. I'm also going to make Guinness stew in my crock pot for DH as a surprise! Sunday will probably be more thank you notes. Hopefully I can just get them all done this weekend!
