HHC Week 7

WLC: Get me your weights.

This week's challenge was to get at least 30 minutes of cardiovascular exercise 4 times a week.

1. How did you do? What did you do for cadio this week?

2. What other HHC have stuck? Which ones have not?

3. AW something.

Next week's challenge is to re-make a favorite restaurant dish in a healthier way. Post a recipe and review on the cookbook  blog.

  • 1. How did you do? What did you do for cadio this week? Good. I started off better, but then my stomach went all funky and I didn't keep up with 30DS -- but will go back to it tomorrow. I did Zumba on Saturday, Tuesday and Wednesday and Dance You A$$ Off on Monday and Thursday. The Tuesday and Wednesday Zumba is INTENSE!

    2. What other HHC have stuck? Which ones have not? I track my food, I'm still not drinking enough water though...have to get on that. I also had not been drinking any soda, but with my stomach bothering me I had some.

    3. AW something.I'm 1.8 lbs over my prepregnancy weight. Now working towards my prewedding weight...and then my premeeting DH weight..lol

  • 1.Great! Aside from the 30DS, I've been doing a mix of cardio pilates and Zumba for Wii.

    2. I'm still food tracking and we've been trying to plan active dates instead of just going out to dinner.

    3. I thought things were going to fall apart during our staycation, but they haven't. I shredded the last two days and made great choices when we ate out.

  • 1. How did you do? What did you do for cadio this week?
    Not as good as usual. I hurt my back on Tuesday but am still going to try to get on the treadmill today. I have been running about 1.5 miles... all jogging/running, no walking... about 22 minutes total including warmup and cool down... I am enjoying it... I cycle up and really push myself hard. Each minute I go up a level for 4 minutes, then back down for a min and then up again... really pushes me.

    2. What other HHC have stuck? Which ones have not?
    I'm doing okay food-wise but still struggling with snacking being at home for the summer... crackers and stuff are my downfall. My exercise program is great and I'm def seeing results.

    I lost four lbs last week and another 4 lbs the week before... not tooo shabby for vacationing.

  • 1. How did you do? Not so well.  I got a stupid stomach virus last weekend that really sapped my energy and it took a couple days before I felt like myself again. 

    What did you do for cadio this week? The only really cardio I did was spin class this morning.  I do weights and yoga one time each during the week though.  Hoping to get back into running tomorrow. 

    2. What other HHC have stuck? Water intake, keeping active  

    Which ones have not? I haven't been tracking food but I do try to think about portion size.

    3. AW something.  I have one more workout to go to finish the first level of NROL for Abs.

  • 1. How did you do? What did you do for cadio this week? I think I did pretty good! Between Jillian, running, and chasing the kiddos each day I got between 30 and 60 minutes 6 days this week.

    2. What other HHC have stuck? Which ones have not? Water consumption stuck... the other ones not so much. The ones that didn't stick though are ones I really struggled with initially.

    3. AW something. six more pounds and my driver's license will be accurate again. :)

  • This was my first week, I didn't know too much about the challenge so I'll do my best.

    1. For cardio I did the Ripped in 30 video (it's 36 mins total with warm up and cool down, my cardio is definently up during that time)

    2. I'm not sure what HHC stands for.

    3. I worked out 4 days in a row which is a first in about 7 months. I'm pretty proud of that.

    Where do I post my weight? And what are the weeks? Saturday through Friday?
