... gotta get down on Friiiiday!
Um yes. Friday. Yay!
What is everybody up to this weekend?
I am looking forward to introducing Matt to some of my extended family tomorrow, we're driving to Mass. for a surprise birthday party for my uncle. Tonight I think I'm doing laundry and Sunday will probably be packing and stuff for the move. Last night we went to Conundrum to celebrate 6 months of dating, lol.
Re: It's Friday, Friday ...
When I came downstairs this morning Seth had Abe jumping up and down and Seth was yelling, "Friday, Friday, Pizza Day." Crazy birds.
Tonight: Abe and I are going out to Grampy and Grammy's house to say goodbye before they leave for vacation to Belgium. My father's father was born and raised in Ghent.
Tomorrow: FINALLY a beach day. Abe hasn't been to the real beach yet so we are going to Popham. I'm really excited to share this with him. In the evening we might go out for ice cream. I was thinking about inviting his daycare provider, she mentioned her fiancee is working all weekend so that might perk her up.
Sunday: LOBSTER FEST! I am really looking forward to it. Seth has a decent chance at either winning the race or coming in close. Last year he won his age group. I plan on eating everything in sight.
Tonight we're going to have take-out at home with my mom and grandmother, and Marcus will open his presents from them. Tomorrow my boy is 2!! How did that happen? We're taking him to Boothbay for Day out with Thomas (the train) which I think he will love. We'll do presents at home later that day. We're not doing a party this year which I'm happy about. Nothing planned for Sunday.
We're headed to Sebago for the weekend... that's about it. I'm insisting on making s'mores this weekend too. That's all I really want to accomplish.
I have the day off!! And so does DH!!!! Yeah! I totally needed a break.
Today we dropped T off at daycare and picked up the house a bit. Sergei (the dog whisperer of Maine) is coming to give Buddy an evaluation. I'm a little nervous. He has come a long way but he still isn't at a point where I can trust him with my daughter. After Sergei leaves, we might go out for some Taylor-free time or maybe just stay home. Gotta get the girl by 5 though. We will probably just go to the park or something later. I also have to get my coupon shopping done today too.
Tomorrow I might take T to the Great Pond. DH's aunt has a camp there, and the edge of the water is perfect for kids. T loves it there! If we don't do that, then who knows what we will do.
Sunday, probably a whole lot of nothing. I like Sundays like that
Phew TGIF! Ready for a relaxing night of nothing this evening!
The rest of the weekend is ALL about dogs and driving.
Tomorrow morning we have a fundraiser in Bangor from 10-3 for the rescue I foster for. Then tomorrow night we are driving down to Scarborugh to pick up our next foster, a cute Great Dane pup!
Then Sunday morning I am getting up early to meet the transport coming to the other rescue I volunteer for (greyhound rescue) because we are getting 12 new greyhounds in from the track.
Then Sunday afternoon we are driving back up to Bangor with the dane pup for him to meet a potential adopter. We have already adopted one of our fosters to them so we are really excited to hopefully adopt another. And we are staying for a bbq which will be nice!
Phew...I am already tired from this weekend.
Woo Great Pond! That's where our camp is. And pretty much where we'll be all weekend until we have to leave Sunday to get things like grocery shopping and laundry done. Boo.
Tonight we're going to dinner with DH's parents at Wings Hill Inn...we've never been before, but it's their last weekend before they leave to winter down south and they've been wanting to try it so we're tagging along.
Ahhhh... the weekend!
Today, I'm meeting a former classmate for lunch and some scrub shopping, maybe with her daughter. I'm hoping that my friend's restaurant is open today (they've been closed for 2 weeks due to an emergency) so that we can enjoy our lunch there, but we shall see.
Tonight? Baking a blueberry sour cream coffee cake. Relaxing with Wayne. Maybe take the dog for a walk, if Wayne doesn't do it while I'm gone.
Saturday is a brunch with some lovely ladies in Boothbay.
Sunday, up to Jay/Farmington to see a movie with Wayne and my SFIL. Should be interesting-- my SFIL talks through every movie as if he's sitting in his living room and he's half deaf, so everyone can hear him. Always an adventure at the movies with him! LOL
We live close to the Wings Hill Inn and know the owners/chefs. They are awesome and the food is amazing!! Have fun!!
I am very jealous you both have camps on Great pond! We live between both Great and Long pond, but have no easy access to them
Tonight - Hanging out at home, my DH has been traveling alot for work and just wants to relax tonight and spend time with DD.
Tomorrow - My family is getting together at my mom's for a BBQ
Sunday - My best friend is moving to Texas on Monday
So i'll be hanging with her and helping her pack.

Tonight - Getting together with a couple college friends before one takes off to Mass. to start on his Masters.
Tomorrow - Maybe taking Ali to the dog park in Augusta. We haven't been before but I think she needs the chance to play with some bigger dogs because by 35 pound pup plays like an 85 pound pup.
Sunday - Finish painting our hallway? I haven't figured out yet how we are going to paint in our stair area. Probably a trip to Lowes because H realized that he can't get some part of our toilet out to use a repair kit so his solution is just to replace the whole thing.
We're in Boothbay all weekend. Most of our weekend will be playing it by ear. Tonight we will have dinner with the fam and go out for a drink later or we'll go out for dinner by ourselves. Tomorrow morning is brunch with some awesome Nesties! In the afternoon, we'll probably go to the boat parade, then maybe go for a long walk or hike, laze around the house and then go to dinner. Sunday will probably be more of the same, along with a potential visit with Mollie and Will!
This vacation is turning out to be restorative. I needed it and am very happy!
Today- Went to Boothbay for a day out with Thomas. Eli loved it! I was a little worried since he seems to be "over" Thomas lately, but he had tons of fun. We stopped at the Beach to Beacon expo on the way home to pick up our bibs, shirts and some freebies.
Tomorrow- Running Beach to Beacon 10k! Excited to have Tim run it with me this year. Definitely not as prepared as I was last year, but I am way less nervous since I know I can do it and how fun it is. Just want to finish and have a great time! Later in the afternoon we are going to a friend's bbq.
Sunday- No plans yet. DH will be landscaping most of the day, so Eli and I will find some low key fun.
HELLO weekend!
James has been on and off a pill this week, so I'm excited to be able to potentially nap this weekend to make up for the lost sleep.
Tonight: It was pizza night- hooray! We're watching bleak non-cable TV and have been listening to James talk in bed 45 minutes now. We ditched the pacifier Wed night when we realized it was ripped, and nights and mornings have been rough. The talking is an improvement over past nights' screaming.
Tomorrow: If the night goes well, we're going to go canoeing somewhere up the road on a river with James for the first time. I'm really excited to see how he does. Before dinner I have to go to the grocery store. Beef kabobs for dinner!
Sunday: My big plan is to make banana blueberry muffins with James and choreograph my veil solo/duet. Otherwise I've got nothing on tap!
Aquabats? lol!
Tonight probably playing a game or something with the hubs and some remaining staff members...
tomorrow: staff and friends are coming to help us move all our stuff into storage and then we are eating pizza and drinking to thank them for helping us move... and probably all piling into the ILs hot tub...
Sunday... not sure, DH will be working so depending on the weather depends what we do...
Happy Friday from Maui!
Awesome!!!
Nobody wants to hear it, Kimberly! Quit rubbing it in!

Oh yeah, well, um, I'm going to the grocery store later. Yeah, I know you're jealous.
