Happy: I started Clomid last night & I really hope that it works for us.
Crappy: SD's great grandmother passed away Tuesday & to make it even worse we had to postpone the Sluber party to next weekend.
Happy: Getting to see our little girl at a 3d ultrasound twice
... can't wait to see her again this afternoon!
Crappy: I am in so much pain because my pelvic bone is trying to seperate more than it should and it is making be unable to walk, bend or lift my feet high. I told my H that you may as well throw me in a tux and put me in a zoo because I could pass as a penguin right about now. Sigh.. what I would give for a painkiller besides tylenol

Happies: I got my a$$ in studying mode finally for the CIA test! Just a couple chapters to go and I'm hoping to be ready by the 20th to take the first test!
Crappies: I PO'ed DH last night because he bought another pair of sneakers when he has like 15 old ones he hasn't thrown away and I got so annoyed with him he stormed off to find a pair to throw out. He's not still visibly upset at me but I feel bad for nagging him to that point. He's usually easy going but he is never motivated to get rid of crap so nagging is the only way seemingly!
April 2010 Siggy Challenge: Next Vacation Destination
Happies: My sister, BIL, niece and nephews are coming tomorrow for a week! Annnd I'm really pumped about the upcoming interview - I sort of thought those people were just not going to reply to my resume
Crappies: I wish Bruce wasn't so high-maintenance. I looovvveee him with all of my heart, but if he doesn't get two 1+ mile walks per day he's insane. Normally I don't mind and like that he gets me outside, but sometimes I just want a break. Sigh.
Happies: I had an ultrasound on Wednesday and got to see my little goober! We could see the heartbeat and it was the coolest thing I've ever witnessed. We don't get to hear the heartbeat until our next appointment on the 24th, but I'm already in love. Also, our due date got pushed up 9 days, so I'm really 7 weeks and 3 days and not the 6 weeks and 2 days I thought I was. Score!
Crappies: I'm so tired I want to crawl under my desk and sleep all day. I've been going to be every night at 9pm and sleeping until 6:30am, but I'm still so exhausted. I can barely keep my eyes open all day at work and my nausea medicine isn't helping with that. I really wish I was a SAHW right now so I could nap.
Happies: Went out with some friends for a friend's birthday last night and that was fun. Then have a sand volleyball tournament tomorrow which should be a blast.
Crappies: I was supposed to AF by Wednesday, but just spotted until today, so I will have HORRIFIC cramps tomorrow for volleyball...poo.
Happies: DH got off work early last night, so we were actually able to see each other & hang out. Plus, AF showed up, so I'm not PG this month (whew).
Crappies: DH had to go out of town at the last minute Tuesday and Wednesday, so we didn't see each other since we left for work Tuesday morning. Then last night when we picked up my parents and their friends at the airport, their flight was late and they weren't where they were supposed to be for us to pick them up. We circled the airport 4 times looking for them at 11:45 pm. I am so freakin tired today.
Happies - Today is my last day of work before a week off for vacation, yippie. And I officially graduate today with my masters.
Crappies - I am really annoyed at DH for not congratulating me at all or even making me feel like getting my masters is a big accomplishment. He is acting like it is no big deal and that kind of hurts, I worked really hard for it and he does not see that. I wanted to go to a celebration dinner, and he basically said why would I want to do that, you got a party (that I had to throw myself, and it kind of sucked). I am not a big gift person, but really, it would have been nice for him to at least give me flowers or something wither when I finished or for my actual graduation.
HAHA such a funny title! And a great idea!
Happies: Last night I went to a free outdoor concert with a new friend that I made at work. It was a beautiful night, we got to enjoy the show and have some gelato! I love summer. Also, IT'S FRIDAYYYYY!
ETA: I can't believe I forgot this!!! I put a deposit on a new car yesterday (lease is up soon) and I got a GREAT deal on a new Honda CR-V (which is what I'm giving back) and my monthly payment will be $65 lower than it has been!! On the same car!!! YESSSSS!
Crappies: It's supposed to rain this weekend, and I have LOTS of laundry to put away when I get home.

You deserve to be recognized for your hard work and accomplishment. I am very happy for you and hope that you don't let anything get in the way of your happiness about finishing your Master's!!!
@Courtney -- uh YEAH CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!! Some men are so dense, I'm sorry.

@Alli -- I have a CR-V and it's my favorite thing in the universe. We just got it in Dec (a new 2010) and I have a teensy weensy Celica before that, so I'm extra in love with the space!
Thank you both so much! I am trying really hard to not let it bum me out. Guys really just dont get it sometimes, and I know it is a huge accomplishment! I plan to treat myself to some good sushi tonight to celebrate
Haha, love the "party," that made me smile! Thank you! It is funny, certain things he is great about, and certain things he really is just completely dense.
Congratulations!!! You totally deserve every bit of celebrating you do! It's a lot of time and work invested in schooling while working full time! I would be telling DH to take you out anyway because you said so :-) I hope you enjoy whatever you plan to do to celebrate and enjoy relaxing and not having homework and classes!

Happie: Inspection went well, just one electrical issue that I think the sellers are just going to knock of the price of the house. One of my dads good friends is an electrician and will be able to fix it for us for cheap.
Crappie: The sadness around the neighborhood about the shooting....
Happie: Financing for the house is set, and the lenders have all my paperwork. Once we get the final negotiations done we should be good to go to contract!
Crappie: My stupid co worker yelling at me yesterday because I wouldn't do her job for her (I am done letting her walk all over me). She was completely in the wrong, so it really didn't phase me that much.
YAY for CR-V's! This will be my third leased CR-V, so obv I love them! Such a comfortable, roomy car, but not so oversized that I can't park it
What color do you have? My dealer is going to try to get me a Glacier Blue one (first choice) but they have a dark grey one in stock for me too. I hope the blue comes in this week!!!!
Yes major Congrats Courtney! That is a HUGE accomplishment and you should be able to celebrate and get as excited as you want about it! You go girl!
Happies: I got to spend time with my family on Sunday. It's always so nice to see them!
Crappies: The m/s is seemingly getting worse. Not good considering we have a wedding to go to tomorrow which is like 2 hours away.

Yes!! I am in awe of anyone who has completed a masters or beyond. It's such a huge accomplishment!! You should definitely treat yourself to something special. And don't let H have any until he "gets" it. Boys are so oblivious sometimes.

Happies: Its finally Friday and our shower is finally fixed
Crappies: I was kind of in a funk all week I'm hoping to have a nice weekend to get out of it.

Happies: I sent my CV to a very prestigious company last night (for starting a job after my PhD next June!)
Crappies: My dad just failed his cardiac stress test, which means lots more testing and possible surgeries
But at least they may have caught something serious in an early stage. . .

Happies: Going out to a nice dinner with DH and unwinding from this terrible week.
Crappies: Feeling overwhlemed by all of the school work I have and the increased caseload at work. I want to scream!!

Happies: It's Friday...enough said!! These past two weeks at work have been hellish, and I am so very glad that it's Friday! Come on, weekend :-)
Crappies: AF is totally acting up...not due to see her again until next Friday, and guess who decided to swing by today? Yup...there goes my "fun" for this weekend...boo - hiss!!!

You know what's crazy - I have a CR-V too! I have a 2002 silver one. Every year I say I really should get a new car, but at 9 years old and with over 120,000 miles, I just have no reason to - I still love it! Plus I love that I haven't had a car payment in 6 years. I do think at some point in the next year we're going to get me a new car and DH will take the CR-V. He has an old Accord that he hardly ever drives, and if we move to the burbs he'll be driving more and need a reliable car.
Happies: I'm really busy at work, but kicking butt. I had a fun night out with my girlfriends last night. The Phils have won 7 in a row.
Crappies: My sister has been really nauseous (from the chemo or the cancer, who knows), and nothing is helping. Plus, my BIL has been really sick so their poor kids are practically taking care of themselves. I had my embryo transfer today and even though it went well, I just don't feel confident about it. Layoffs are looming at work. My teammates are squabbling with each other and I'm trying my best to stay out of it.
Happy: It's nice to be invited to things....
Crappy: But I'm sick of cookout food and the more parties we attend = the more money we dish out and the more fattening food we eat.
