Ulster county Fair ?

Does anyone know a way to come from the mid Hudson bridge and not go through the town of New Paltz? It takes forever and I would think it's worse for the fair.

You could take 44/55 from Highland and go allllll the way around the "back way" but that would definitely take you longer. I can give you directions if you'd like to go that way anyway or I can give you directions where you can take some side streets in NP and pick up 299/Main Street near the Wallkill River. Let me know

The easiest way would be taking 299. Pass the thruway and at the next intersection (by Sunoco) make a right onto North Putt Corners Rd. Drive for literally 30 seconds, go past the Freihoper's Outlet store and turn left onto Henry W Dubois Dr. There's a ridic amount of stop signs on this road. Follow this road until the end (about a mile- 1.5 miles). Go left at the end onto Route 32/North Chestnut street. Keep going (you'll pass the jewish community ctr, Kennedy Fried Chicken, Barnaby's) until you hit the intersection of 299/Main Street (there's a Mobil on the right, Neko on the left). Make a right and follow the signs for the fair! Hope I didn't lose ya and if you go tomorrow, I'll be there!
