Hi girls,
I have been seeing my OB/GYN for my endometriosis for a while, and I am thinking it is time to try to look for a second opinion. Would any of your reccommend your doctor? Do you know if he/she has knowledge with endometriosis. I love my doc. but I am thinking that I would like another viewpoint on my situation. I know it is a unique situation, but thought that I would ask.
TIA
Re: OB/GYNs
I see an ob/gyn in Muskegon that I really like. I have no experience with the office in regards to pregnancy (but know others who have). I also have no idea what her experience with endometriosis is. My interaction with the office is limited to basic annual exams and Mirena insertion.
If you're still interested in her name/office, let me know and I'll send you a PM.
I, along with quite a few other ladies here, see Dr. Michelle Klyn at the Women's Center downtown. I've seen her for my yearly exams and my pregnancy. No idea about her knowledge of endometriosis. I know that Dr. Wolfe is also really good, who is in the same office.
Good luck on your search.
My Profile
Shoot. About 4 years ago, there were a lot of women here who had endo. and talked about it here. I don't have that eacxperience, but I've seen Dr. Goersech (sp) who is with either St. Mary's or Advantage Healths (I don't remember the name affiliation) on the East Beltline.
My family doctor serves as my regular OB/GYn, but I had to see a specialist when there was an unusal pap. I really like him a lot.
i've heard a lot of great things about this office in particular. You could always call and ask if any of their doctors focus on endometriosis.
Are you looking for one in the GR area, Holland area??
I have also heard great things about Dr. Klyn
I also see this group of docs and love them. I recommend Dr. Anderson or Turke or Gorsuch within this group, they were my favorite although I liked all of them in the practice.
