2 Truths and a Lie

I need a distraction... Here are mine:

1) I was in an opera as a child.

2) My grandmother survived the Dust Bowl but almost died of meningitis as a child.

3) In college, I worked at a diner.

Which one is the lie?

I would say in an Opera as a child, only because I can't think of any opera's with children off the top of my head (though I'm sure there are many)

He's doing all right. It's healing. It's just slow. But having him stay on the Clinitron bed, and not transfer out of it at all, has been helping. It's kind of depressing getting check ins from IL about the fun things they're doing. Hopefully he'll heal quickly enough that we can go somewhere local for fun before school starts.

Nope, I was in an opera as a child. I was in a summer school program in Berkeley all about the Italian Renaissance. We learned Italian, studied its art, history and archaeology, cooked Italian food, played chess and put on a production of Puchinella at the local theater. The program had such an impact on me that I was a Renaissance Studies major for awhile in college.
