Smocked Dress Pattern?
Does anyone know of a good pattern to make a little girls smocked dress?

Children's Corner Pattern called Lee You will also need a smocking plate (printed instructions) for the actual smocking. The pattern does not include that.
I took a smocking class and most of the people had trouble inserting the smocking piece. The teacher had to help all of the newbies. We used the Lee pattern.
I never finished mine, because I could not please myself with my smocking stitches. I now have a magnifying light that I think will make the smocking much easier. But that is for another day. Hah!
