This is sort of a crock pot variation on pork carnitas:
2 lb. pork shoulder (boneless)
1 jar chipotle seasoned salsa
1/4 cup water
2 small cans green chiles (diced)
1 16oz bottle beer (I use Yuengling lager)
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Pour a small amount into the crock put. Place the pork shoulder in the crock pot, pur remaining ingredients over the pork shoulder. Cook on high for 6 hours.
I usually serve this with rice (I cook the rice in the juice from the pork to add more flavor), sour cream, and some shredded cheddar sprinkled on top.
