New Nonprofit For Military Families
Hey Ladies, I wanted to share with you this awesome non-profit I'm working with.
Operation R&R Charleston's mission is to
provide active duty service men and women who have recently been
deployed the opportunity to reconnect and strengthen family
relationships by vacationing in the Charleston, SC area at little to no
cost.
We are looking for volunteers who are interested in serving
as greeters for families when they come to visit. We will soon be
accepting applications for families too who live within 4 hours of
Charleston.
We are also having our big launch party September
9th at the Holliday Alumni House at The Citadel. Let me know if you're
interested in more details!

Life As A Newlywed

Re: New Nonprofit For Military Families
They also have this in Hilton Head Island, SC, Galveston, TX and many other places around the country.
There is also The Sportsman's Foundation for Military Families. They take SMs and their families on fishing or hunting trips. We went on a trip with them. They sent us horse back riding, to an animal safari, we swam, I went on several hunts and my son went on his first hunt. Mostly, it was nice to sit back and relax with my kids for a while.
