Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Thank goodness for Wi-Fi
After the last storm we had this Wednesday, we a lot of large trees down in our neighborhood. Yesterday, when they were clearing the debris, they took out our power-line. We haven't had power since about 2pm. Blah. It is of course the weekend before finals so I need the internet to study, finish my research paper, etc...
Between last night, today, and possibly tomorrow depending on when the power is restored I have been camping out between school, Starbucks, and last night A and I went to Chili's so I could work on my stuff and we could eat dinner. Free Wi-fi is saving my butt right now or I would be in soooo much trouble for finals.
We desperately needed the rain, but not as much as we need electric! Our neighbors next door have a brand new baby and they are camping out in a hotel b/c of the heat. I feel really bad for them. Our dogs are staying w/ one of my professors since our dogs are buddies so they aren't at home in the dark and no way of keeping them cool. Fingers crossed our power is back on soon!!
