an idea of staying connected with old friends
My college roommate just had a baby. Now that we've both multiplied, we have been a bit lax about staying in touch. It's especially hard because we live so far away that we rarely get to see each other.
But, I had an idea.
We have monthly plans. Once a month, one of us is going to share a book recommendation or recipe to try. We'll alternate months on who's turn to choose. After we finish the book or recipe, we'll call each other to discuss.
It will be a way for us to stay close through the miles and even with our busy lives.
