I just wanted to tell you that i was reading through your blog today and you have totally inspired me! I would love to be able to share with everyone all the fun things we are going to do to our house when we move in! Our first major projects involve removing wallpaper, painting, tiling, and laying engineered wood floors - eek can you say overachievers!!

I also had to tell you that I absolutely love that bird feeder that you got at the Arts Festival. I had to look on etsy to see if I could find one and I did!  DH said I could get one when we got to the new house! Hurray I'm excited !This guy also makes fireflies which are super cool as well. http://www.etsy.com/listing/72947264/fire-flies-made-in-iowa-by-junkfx-don?ref=v1_other_1

  • Aw, thank you!  That's such a big compliment!  I'm glad that some people like following my little home improvements and craftiness.  It's been a bit slow lately since I was in Mexico for the past week, but I'm getting ready to load up some pictures and details about our trip (I know, not very "home" related, but still fun).

You should totally start up a blog when you start remodeling your new home!  It's fun and it's a nice way to keep track of everything you've done.

And aren't those bird feeders/"junk art" (as I like to call them) adorable?!  This guy had tons of stuff, such as golf club pink flamingos; I wanted one soooo badly, but thought I'd start off with the bird feeder, which is a little less obnoxious.

  • I'm feeling so motivated today that I really wish we were in our new house already!! I've been busy packing up all of our excess stuff in the upstairs! Ugh there is a lot of it!!
