Help me with a resume for my mom!!

She is a care giver and a medication technician (passes meds).. I'm trying to find ways to phrase things on her resume. Her main duties are assisting residents with everyday activities, including showering/grooming and going to the bathroom/adult diapers. She also orders/organizes/passes medication to residents and can administer insulin shots. Along with all of this, she fills in where needed and does general housekeeping and office work.

I just want to make her look good on paper, as she is amazing in person. I've never been in this type of job field so I don't really know how to word things to make it more professional.

Thanks in advance for any input!!

Re: Help me with a resume for my mom!!

  • I always suggest looking at job descriptions for her ideal position and steal language from there, her resume will also need to be altered for each application.  A lot of time HR reps, who have no clue about the field, are reviewing the resumse and all they are looking for is the language from the job description.

     Good luck!
