I've got the week off, so I figured I'd do some work in and around the house. I've been wanting to strip the hideous paint the previous owners used everywhere off the beautiful stone windowsills. So I got up, had my coffee and figured I'd get started immediately as the paint stripper needs to dry for 6 hours...
I started working and opened the window, which was highly necessary because of the terrible fumes. And then it started to rain...
I had to close the windows, so now I'm sitting in a very very fumey house.
I'm so not cut out for diy things. Either I screw up, or the weather screws me. This is why we should just hire people for EVERYTHING. Please cross your fingers for me winning the lottery wednesday...

What I'm looking forward to in 2012:

Eating our way through (northern) Italy on vacation
