So, what went down this weekend?

Do you have a "case of the Mondays?"

Re: It's Monday...

  • So, what went down this weekend? I spent my weekend trying different exercises to get Russell to turn...so far his head has moved from below the right rib cage to the left rib cage. At least that confirms that he still has plenty of room to turn...

Other than that, we spent the weekend doing some cleaning around the house.

Do you have a "case of the Mondays?" Yup...wishing I was still at home and under the covers....things aren't going that smoothly this morning...

What's on the agenda for the week? Tomorrow, I am taking my puppy back to the vet for another surgery (she was spayed in June, but her body has rejected the stitches so they have to be removed). Thursday afternoon I have another Dr. appointment...hopefully we will be told that Russell has turned! Other than that, it is work as usual and the continued exercises to get baby to move.

Hope everyone has a great week!

  • So it is!!! And so soon...lol

    Let's see:

So, what went down this weekend?

Actually had a nice weekend. A little busier than I would have liked, but not bad. To begin, H decided on a whim to participate in a charity softball tourney to benefit some fellow officers who recently lost their home in a fire. So, we're up bright and early on Saturday and spend the day there (it was a lot of fun!) and as a bonus I photographed the event and actually came up with some pretty cool shots :-) Later, H had his HS reunion, which I skipped (barely made it to my last reunion - haha!), and so spent Saturday evening chilling out...

Sunday we visited family, his brother (whose Bday was Saturday) and went out to a really great late lunch/early dinner at a new place near his Dad's, which I truly enjoyed.

Do you have a "case of the Mondays?"

Uh, yep! If I only had one more day!!!!

What's on the agenda for the week?

Hopefully this week will be much more settled and less busy/hectic at work than the past two were. That would be a good thing. Other than that, hopefully I can get a few chores done around the yard after work this week, as long as the weather isn't boiling hot!

    Have a great week, ladies!!

  • So, what went down this weekend?Well, Friday night we ended up going to see the Planet of the Apes movie. It was pretty good. I looked at it more as a lead up to the original ones that I am assuming they are going to remake as well. Saturday I had the sand volleyball tournament all day. It was SO hot! I seriously drank like 7 bottles of water (in between my 6 alcoholic drinks...oops...haha), but it was a lot of fun. We did a lot better than expected. I was on the same team with my boyfriend of over a year from high school, but we are cool with each other so it wasn't too awkward. Then dinner with friends, and stopped by at a wedding reception that we were invited to.I slept in until 1 pm on Sunday. Yes, I was shocked about it, but apparently I needed the sleep! Then went with a friend to go hang out with her parents (my 2nd set of parents growing up), then dinner at home and resting.Do you have a "case of the Mondays?"Yea, more so because I have SO much cleaning I could be doing at home right now...What's on the agenda for the week? Jeff's sister gets here Wednesday night. I have a company BBQ that evening, though, that Jeff and I have to go to. Then looking forward to this weekend with my SIL. There is a big meteor shower Saturday night/Sunday morning. Since I live in the middle of nowhere it is INCREDIBLE all of the shooting stars we can see, so I think we talked about going out to Jeff's grandpa's farm to watch it!

  • So, what went down this weekend? Nothing at all....DH was out of town and got home late Friday night, then was gone for part of the day Saturday and all day yesterday....so I basically spend the weekend in my PJ's on the couch. The weather was too crappy to go to the pool.

Do you have a "case of the Mondays?" I was happy to leave the house this morning (I hadn't been out since Friday lol), but I am def sleepy and not ready to be at work!

What's on the agenda for the week? Tonight DH & I are going to look at some apts (contemplating moving), tomorrow I'm going for dinner with some work friends and Friday I'm going to happy hour with some friends.

  • So, what went down this weekend? I made THREE different sorbets (yum) and some keylime cupcakes for a BBQ on Sunday and I spent some time with my little man Gus! :) Pretty low key weekend.

Do you have a "case of the Mondays?" Yes I'm bitter that its already Monday. I think all summer weekends should be 4 days long. (3 day work weeks woohoo)

What's on the agenda for the week? This week is our second show of the summer so I'll be helping out there every night.

  • So, what went down this weekend?

Good weekend....grilled Friday night and a friend came over to have dinner with hubby and I.  Then me and friend went for a walk by the beach and got coffee.  Saturday - beach day with hubby!  Sunday - just cleaning, food shopping and made peanut butter ice cream! yum!

Do you have a "case of the Mondays?"

    Yes for sure :(

What's on the agenda for the week?

    - Getting ready for my first bridal show as a vendor on Wednesday! WOo HOO

    - Hoping and praying that Honda gets me the Glacier Blue CR-V that I want and put a deposit on!!!!

    - Getting back into the gym regularly - hubby and I are going to sign up for a 5k in October so that we are forced to stay on track.  Oh gosh....

  • So, what went do this weekend?

We had to spill the beans on my pregnancy to MIL and SIL who were visiting. I was feeling pretty crummy and took a 2 hour nap on Saturday, then we made a pasta salad with cubed ham that I couldn't eat. So we told them, but swore them to secrecy forever and made it very clear that we had no intention of telling them. It was weird, but they were excited.

Then my dog busted his tail open and we had to take him to the emergency vet because he was bleeding all over the house. Luckily it wasn't too bad and they just bandaged it up and gave us some antibiotics to keep it from getting infected.

Do you have a "case of the Mondays?"

I do. I wish I could be home sleeping right now because I really didn't have my weekend to relax. I think I'm just not cut out for entertaining people at my house.

What's on the agenda for this week?

Not much. I plan on going to bed by 9pm every night and doing as little as possible after work each day.

ETA: Oh and also, I came down with a UTI on Saturday morning. Blech. But the good news is my OB on-call doc was able to call in meds, so I was feeling better by that afternoon. That doc is my new favorite person.

  • We had a great weekend. Saturday went out on the boat all day with friends and it was a gorgeous day!

Yesterday my sister, BIL and their 3 kiddos got here. We made blueberry waffles and hung out at the pool all day. I am now horrendously behind on laundry and cleaning, but this week is just going to have to be that way so we can spend time with them

I have a HORRENDOUS case of the Mondays! I so want to be hanging out with my family and not at work. Plus it's raining which makes me just want to go to bed.

This week is basically just going to be filled with work and having dinners with them. I'm probably going to take off a couple of days to go to the beach!

  • So, what went down this weekend?Wedding way up north...it was so hick.  Someone came to the ceremony in short red running shorts and a Mickey Mouse t-shirt....no lie! Do you have a "case of the Mondays?"For sure.  I already threw up this morning so I really don't want to be at work.... What's on the agenda for the week? Not sure.  Hopefully be able to get more stuff done around the house.  But if today is any indication, it will be a LONG week :(

  • Saturday I went shopping with MIL and SIL and then to dinner with DH.  It was a fun but exhausting day.

Sunday we went and got me some new shoes and went to lunch.  DH had to go into work for a bit then he came home and BBQd.

I don't have a serious case of the Mondays, but I wouldn't mind going back home to sleep.

This week we don't have much going on since it's DHs late week.  I am having dinner with a friend tomorrow night after work, but that's about it.  We need to do some cleaning/organizing around the apartment.

  • So, what went down this weekend? Saturday was H birthday, so we celebrated by going out to dinner. The rest of the weekend was pretty laid back. I got all of the laundry done and deep cleaned the kitchen.

Do you have a "case of the Mondays?" No, but school does start this week so I should be back to getting subbing jobs. I'm excited to be back to work!!

What's on the agenda for the week? Go back to work!!

  • The weekend was good!  Friday we went to a street fair - the last one of the summer in our neck of the woods.  We missed the other two since they were the same weekend we were in Pittsburgh.

Saturday Mike, Amanda, my mom, my cousin, her DH and I went and saw Captain America and Sunday we went to a grad party for the daughter of one of my childhood friends.  Good times!

My boss is going to be OOT for the rest of the week; luckily I have two branch visits planned for the week and an annual ACH audit I'm working on will keep me going on Thursday and Friday.  Family reunion on DH's side this weekend so we'll be shopping for our contribution later in the week and I told SIL I'd make pudding shots.

  • So, what went down this weekend?  DH and I ran errands Saturday, watched the Phillies games, he brewed some beer Sunday and I crocheted.

Do you have a "case of the Mondays?" I was too busy to respond to this which I thought would be longer so I had no time to have a case of the Mondays Smile. We are having a picnic for the residents at the senior property this afternoon which we went shopping for yesterday morning and I had plenty to do at the other site with balance due notices and whatnot.

What's on the agenda for the week? Wednesday evening I'm going to my BFF's house to join her and her mom for a facial that she won from Mary Kay! I can't wait to ask her how her wedding planning is going since she's been away on vacation the last two weeks! Other than that not a lot, her engagement party is Saturday and I need to wrap the last gift yet.

  • This weekend was pretty busy although I was able to sleep in on Saturday. That afternnon I ran a TON of errands & made curtains for the upstairs bonus room. On Sunday I went to my home town & went to church with my Mom (Dad had a cold) & then ate lunch with them. At 3:00 I went over to see my good friend, Fran. She had a milestone birthday & I hadn't been able to get her gift to her so I stopped by & we hung out & caught up for a couple of hours. By the time I got home it was about 6:00 & time to get ready for another work week.

This week were getting ready for SD's slumber party on Saturday & I'm helping her with a book report. Her Mom is "supposed" to have her back to us early tomorrow (Wednesday) morning but you all know haw that is, maybe we'll get her & maybe we won't. But I'm going have to play evil stepmom (Nelson will have to be mean Dad) & tell her that if she doesn't have her book read & book report done by Friday night we're going to have to cancel the slumber party. She's had all summer to get it done but has spent the majority of her time @ her mom's house & school work is not a priority. EX has said repetedly, " I don't do school."

--- Sorry for th mini vent but that's what's on tap for this week...

I don't know what's worse, a mom who says "I dont do school" or a mom who pretends to care about school but really doesn't. No schoolwork like reports and long projects ever get done at my stepkids mom's house either. So I know how PO'ed you can get when a kid comes back with nothing done and the report due after you have them in your care.
