Claire is right (see post below). I have been very remiss in updating things over here.
First, this summer has been excellent. While work was pure hell all winter/spring I have been able to really step back and work a regular 40 (ish) hour work week. I've even taken a few days off here and there and it's been excellent.
Second, I'm sure most of you saw the progress of our front porch on facebook since I was obsessive with pictures. We love it. We sit out there every night and we couldn't be happier with it. I feel like it changed the whole look of our house too, for the better!
Third, the Daniel Tosh show we went to in Boston last month was hilarious. He's such a cutie. He was a little thrown off because it was his first show of the tour, but I still really enjoyed seeing him. The guy that opened for him (Tommy Johnagin) was also adorable and hilarious.
Fourth, we went away to Vermont this weekend for a little R&R and it was much needed. I got to visit a few of my favorite places from when I used to travel for work and introduce Pat to them. There was a 'festival of fools' going on in Burlington this weekend so we saw pretty awesome street performers and acts.
I think that's it. Right now my cousin and her kids are visiting from Seattle so I'm looking forward to spending some time with them (they just got in on Saturday so we haven't seen them yet).
Oh - and it's looking REALLY good for Pat's job to be full time this fall. Keep your fingers crossed as his health insurance would be 100% paid and mine would be a very high percentage (although we're not sure what that is yet). Either way it will be MUCH better than what we pay now (100%).
I think that's it...

Re: A Jaime update
Hi Jaime!
I just have to say your porch is amazing! And you are right it does change the entire look of your house...I love it!
Tosh is so funny. I have wondered what he would be like in person. He would definitely be someone Larry and I would go see!
I miss chatting with you!
p.s. When you have time want to email me some of the pictures from the gtg? I never saw the ones of Lucas!
yay :-) Glad things are going so well. I know I've told you before, but LOVE the updates to the house. Seriously, it looks like a different house! You guys (and your contractor) did a great job...and I'm impressed with how quickly they got it done.
I was watching Tosh.0 last night and realized I never got an update from you. He is so cute...I might have a little crush on him.
Liz - I'll try and find those pictures tonight! I miss talking with you too!
I totally have a crush on him, Claire.
And thanks for the comments (both here and on FB) from everyone about the porch! Now you're probably all glad I'll shut up about it!
