So who's excited about college football?
I think most teams kick off in less than a month now...anyone go to your team's fan appreciation day [if they have one]? Any qualms about the preseason rankings that came out last week?

Re: So who's excited about college football?
Did you see this story? LOL.
And YES, I'm so ready for FB season. I'm not optimistic about our chances of a trip to Atlanta this year, but college football is the BEST time of the year! Woohoooo.
TTC #1 since 08/11 IUI#2 = BFP!
I hadn't seen it. I can't help but laugh. It was a pretty good idea- I don't know many people in the state that wouldn't jump at the chance for Iron Bowl tickets. Haha.
I can just picture it after the whole thing goes down:
"Sooo...do I still get the tickets?" LOL
I'm SO ready!
Of course my (National Championship) Tigers aren't really the talk of, well, anything right now but I'm cool with that because A) I'm always an Auburn fan, regardless!
Everyone always underestimates us C) I just can't wait for football!!
Since the Iron Bowl was mentioned above, I must admit, I'm truly dreading it this year. Not because I'm afraid we will lose or anything but man, it is just such a brutal rivalry and especially this year with that dumb bammer poisioning Toomer's..I'm afraid it could be really, really bad.
We didn't go to fan day but since my DH works in the athletic department there is an event we will be attending in a few weeks in the stadium. We get to tour the newly renovated locker rooms, Tigers Den, Heisman Room and watch this year's tunnel video on the jumbo-tran.
Can't wait!
WDE!
TI, IUIs, IVF = c/ps and BFNs
There's lots of hype in tiny 'ol Stillwater about our team this year...I'm not sure if it's more than last year [because I think last year was our best season in my recent memory], but it's close. I'm nervous about our road schedule, but I think we'll still pull out with a decent season.
I'm so ready for September 3rd - I'm just glad it's a 6pm kickoff. At least then, it might not be 110 degrees outside...maybe just 103.
Harvey Updyke is a moron and a disgrace to Alabama fans. I hope that Tide for Toomer's and Toomer's for Tuscaloosa has helped bridge the gap we've had and the rivalry can calm down off the field. On the field; however, I want it to stay passionate forever.

The picture in my head after reading that line cracks me up. Hahahahaha.
I'm super excited about some college football! War eagle, btw.
Like PP said, Auburn's not the talk of much as of late, but that's the fun of football - seeing how everything turns out!
I am, however, interested in seeing who goes to Atlanta. To be honest, my money is on Bama.
Count me IN for the college football excitement!!! It's a new B12, slightly downsized but still ready to fight, and perhaps some members are unhappy, but that should just add to the fire on the field.
I have little hopes for my Longhorns this year, who knows about our QB or running game.... but I will take the surprises as they come (good or bad).
I'm going to GameDay on Sept 3rd at Cowboys Stadium for LSU vs Oregon!!! Can't wait!!! And then in October, I'll take my first trip to Fayetteville to see the razorbacks take on Auburn. SOOOOO Excited about these trips!
me me me me! I'm excited! been keeping up with fall camp and 2 a days. the Aggies look pretty awesome this year, my husband and I just bought season tickets.
we don't really have a single fan appreciation day, but have fan appreciation every home game!

where are your tickets? H bought season tickets the year after he graduated. Which meant my last 2 years down there were sitting- 5 years was plenty for me.
not sure which section exactly (haven't gotten them in the mail yet, and he's the one who put in the order) but they're 3rd deck, ~25 or 30 yard line on the north end, 6th row. where are yours?

from the sounds of it like 5 rows in front of you haha!
we are 3rd deck section 311 row one. That is right between the north 25/30 yd lines. The seats are pretty awesome. Well there is one really obnoxious fan near us, but we can take him.
just got our tickets in the mail today. we're section 312, row 6. so yall are just inside of us. we'll be able to see each other from our seats! hahaha.
