Statesville Haunted Prison

Has anyone been to this? Hubs and I went with a few friends on Saturday, we arrived at 8:30 and the line was an hour and a half just to get in! Needless to say we turned around and went home. I'm interested in going but I'm wondering if it's worth the money and the line, 30 bucks is a lot to shell out for a haunted house.

I live just on the other side of town from it and have never been, because I'm a chicken and I've been known to do some embarassing things when scared!  However, my 15 year old sister went last year and loved it.  She said it is scary and she wanted to go back again.  The line is always super long, and from what I understand, an hour and a half is nothing to wait in line there!

wow, if an hour and a half is a bargain I would hate to see it when it's crowded!!!

I went there twice before and both were a couple of years back.  Both times were different.  First time we went I loved it, second time not so much.  And the wait time was outrageous and not worth it either.

I am too scared to go, I dont like things jumping out/running after me.  But my 16 year old sister went there a few weeks ago, and loved it.  That wait time seems pretty appropriate from what she told me.  But I couldnt believe that its $30!  So for the price for a couple its like having a nice dinner.  Id choose dinner over haunted house any day!

Me..Bridezilla?

I am not a haunted house person but DH and a group of friends wanted to go last year and it was soooo much fun!!!  We paid extra for the VIP pass so we did not have to wait in line.

We went a few years ago...I think right when DH and I started dating.  We also paid extra for the VIP pass so we wouldn't have to wait in line.

I was terrified the entire time....if you like being scared, it's well worth it.  At least, it was 5 years ago.
