Mom's: Diaper Leak Help

E woke up in the middle of the night last night with a very wet bum.  It turns out she had filled her diaper, and then leaked through her Pajama's, Crib Sheet, and 1st mattress protector (she has 2, because I'm weird like that).  This isn't the first time she's soaked through a diaper (pee) but it's the first time she's done it to that magnitude.

E is for sure a super soaker.  I'm wondering what options there may be for overnights?  I haven't seen "overnight" diapers in size 2 before- ha!  Would we be better looking at a cloth diaper for evenings with a liner?

  • You know I'll always recommend cloth!  Esp for overnight!!!  Who knows...maybe you'll convert to full time CDing  :-)

We should go to Zoolikins on Wednesday!

  • Duh!  Cloth is the answer to everything ;)

You could try them out...or maybe you could do cloth soakers in the disposable to give it extra absorbency, if you don't want to go all out cloth.  But since you'd still have to wash em...I'd just go all in.

Pockets are awesome for super soakers since you can customize your absorbency.

  • i'd also maybe try a different brand of disposables if you don't want to go the cloth route (which i am all for, but doing cloth just at night might be kind of annoying as far as washing goes). i am a huge fan of the target brand diapers. i also might try the huggies overnights in size 3 and see how they work for you, even if they are a little bit big.
