Jorge Posada may be benched for good?
I'm a Yankees hater. My husband dislikes Jorge Posada more than any other Yankee, even "a rod," so he will be pleased with this when he comes home from work.
I guess a coach told Posada that they were a better team without him.

That's sad, I know he's getting older and doesn't have it anymore, but he's one of the good guys.
ETA: My neice's first word was Jorge in the middle of the old hip-hip Jorge chant at Yankee stadium.

Wasn't he benched early in the season, got his panties in a bunch over not playing every day, and decided to leave a game that was in progress? I may be thinking of the wrong person, or maybe even mixing up a couple of players, but I'm pretty sure it was him.
I guess it sucks when it's time to hang up the cleats.
Yeah, I think it had something to do with his batting order for that game or something. He took himself out of the game and then was benched for another game (or maybe it was more than one?).
