New Knitter Needs Baby Blanket Help!

I've mastered scarves, and feel ready to move on to a baby blanket.  I found a pattern that looks relatively simply:  http://www.knittinginstructionsetc.com/how-to-knit-baby-blanket/

It doesn't specify, but is it safe to assume I should use circular needles for this project?

TIA!

Re: New Knitter Needs Baby Blanket Help!

  • Yup, I would. For 127 stitches, circulars will make life much easier!

  • Thanks a bunch!

I figured that was the case, but since it didn't mention circulars, I didn't want to rush out and buy them.

  • FWIW, I like to knit most things on circular needles.  They're MUCH more comfortable and take all the pressure off your wrists.  Circular needles would be a good investment regardless of your next project.

  • That's a cute blanket (looks super easy, too - total plus!). I may have to give that a shot for my LO :-)
