I feel sorry for Amber. She didn't even have any friends or family (besides her cousin) to celebrate Leah's bday. Maybe that is partly why she is so crazy.
This was quite disturbing.
I always thought it was Amber who was the messy one and Gary tried to always clean up. Tonight he looked like a terrible father.
Amber- yeah... Gary... the condoms? That's ridiculous. Absolutely.You're a father. Get with the program.
Maci- Ryan has a good point about how she would be mad if he was living with a girl. She needs to be up front and honest. And why was "Kyyyyy" acting that way earlier? Seemed like a jerk.
Catelynn- Her trip seemed very sweet. But I'm kind of confused about why she's so upset that she hasn't contacted Brandon and Teresa.. If you're so upset, why don't you contact them? Haha i'm sure it's more complicated. Just the way it came off.
Farrah- Holy cow!!! Dog over the toilet?!?!?! Oh my goodness. I hope that was a joke!!! And really, that whole thing of her hiding the dog? I hope it was just for viewers.. otherwise she was just doing some bad acting. No, scratch that, it was bad acting either way! I felt like that whole story line was pushed by the show. Whatever. Sophia is so cute though.

I think she's upset because she has let so much time go without contacting them. She doesn't know what to do now that months have passed; I guess she feels silly finally getting back in touch and is worried they think less of her now.
I usually just lurk here but did anyone else notice the place Farrah got the puppy totally looks like a puppymill?? I mean, the billboard advertises 100+ puppies! If I wasn't disgusted enough with that girl!!

Yeah, I see what you mean. And see what she's saying. But it's just sad that the only way to fix this situation (by contacting them) is the same thing that's caused this whole situation. I totally get where she's coming from that you're worried you've burned bridges. But the best way is just to go ahead and take care of it.. I hope she did. And I'm sure she did.
I loved the farrah/sophia scenes tonight. Loved Sophia saying "doggie" and "puppy" over and over again. And when Farrah's mom was asking what that noise was and asked if it was a bat, I couldn't stop laughing. As far as her putting the dog over the toilet-I was hoping that was for Sophia's benefit (another approach to getting her to potty train maybe) but who knows.

Farrah- it is a living creature! My brain almost exploded at the entire dog thing- too many wrongs to write.
Maci- Does Ryan's mom remember that he used to have a girlfriend that spent a lot of time with Bentley? I understand why his family is upset about custody issues but to say Maci is having 'all kinds of guys in and out of his life' when Ryan's had girls in and out his life, too, is kind of annoying.
Catelynn- didn't Tyler look so adorable in his little pizza hat and apron?

It doesn't just look like a puppy mill. It IS a puppy mill.
No one expected Farrah to rescue an animal, anyway. And no rescue would approve her. If our rescue got an app that said, "I'm going to hide this dog and not take it outside for several months and then hold it over the toilet when it needs to pee," I would laugh and think it was some kind of weird joke. That poor dog.

I can't stand Ryan's Mom- a double standard debbie downer much? First off lady, why should you think you should be more involved with Bentley? You've shown America that your parenting skills are lacking by that loser son (with a constant yawning problem) you have living in your garage. I think that's pretty ballsy of her to insinuate that Maci has all these guys coming in and out of her and Bentley's life when she's been with Kyle the whole time. Meanwhile Ryan seems to change girls like he changes his underwear, which probably doesn't happen unless his Mama reminds him to do it 3 times a week. I feel bad for Ryan's Dad being surrounded by two huge idiots.
Amber and Gary- Oye Vay. All I think every episode is poor Leah and I wish Indiana would terminate parental rights on those two lame excuses of parents and give Leah to Brandon & Theresa. At least someone would read a book to little Leah every once in a while. Did anyone else LOL at Gary and his "Magnum Trojans"? Yeah right Gary, you don't need those for your micropenis.
Farrah- Please stop cutting your own bangs all the way to your scalp. It looks like Sophia did it for you. You look stupid.

As somoene pointed out a few weeks ago, I can't help but think this season is way more scripted than many of the others.
Maci- I will just reiterate what I have said- I don't think Kyle should be living there. She moved too fast.
I agree with the pps that Ryan's mom is a DB and has major double standards. I do see Ryan's mom, dad and his points, but it works both ways.
What was Kyle's deal in the early episode? C'mon, MTV editors, work with us. We're all lost. Even in the end, she was giggling and hugging him and he looked totally pissed off and not interested.
Amber- I think Gary should have let Amber come to Leah's birthday party (which was crappy anyway). I think at least Amber would have spent the evening setting up for it and making it fun for Leah. I couldn't believe Leah was running around with rubbers. Gary did look like a crappy parent last night. I get we all need downtime, but he was just lazy and flippant last night. So what if you have a hangover? Your kid doesn't give a sh!t. Get with the program, guzzle some water (do you know what water is, Gary? It's the clear stuff that comes flowing out of the faucet in the sink) and put on a happy face.
I shudder to think of being hit on by Gary, "You ladies look fiiine tonight." *barf*
Farrah- If I couldn't hate her more this episode did it. The idea that she needs a puppy, where she bought the puppy, hiding it, holding it over the toilet, swatting it on the butt when she peed outside, naming her Candy. I could go on and on. I kept yelling at her last night, "It's a damn puppy you stupid cvnt, take it outside to pee she's gonna pee on the rug, what about PUPPY do you not understand?! You stupid stupid girl!"
I have a lot of disgust toward that girl.
Sophia and Bentley need to say bye bye to their pacifiers. They are way too old for them outside of bedtime. It's ridiculous that they walk around with them in their mouths 24/7.
Cate- THIS is the kind of episode I want to see focused around Cate and Tyler. Their struggles with the adoption, their story to inspire others.
THIS! I was thinking the same thing last night - but not having children, I wasn't 100% sure what age they gave them up. Figured they should not be talking with them in their mouth though!
DS's pediatrician wants babies off of them by 2 at the latest. She said at 1 year old, she wants them to really only have them at nap time and bed time.
Most of the babies I used to work with started getting them at nap time/bed time when they were 6 months old.
DS hasn't had one since he was 3 months and I had to take him off the newborn ones and put him on orthodontic pacifiers. He just lost interest (thankfully!)
Here's my thoughts on Kyle based on last night's espisode - He's said earlier in the season that he thought Ryan was still in love with Maci. Then:
- Maci moves back to Chattanooga
- Maci is now back in the same town as Ryan
- Kyle is still in Nashville, hours away
- Kyle starts to worry about Maci and Ryan getting close again
- Kyle sees Ryan as a threat
- Kyle quits his job and moves in with Maci
- Kyle gets pissy when he sees Ryan and Maci being nice to each other (for the sake of their son)
I think Kyle's being a baby, but at the same time he's young and just doesn't understand the complexity that goes with dating a young mother who must be involved with her child's father for the well-being of their son. I think he just doesn't know how to handle it.
Okay, analysis over.
This is exactly what I was thinking too. Also, I don't care what stupid DB Ryan says, I definitely think he still has feelings for Maci. I also think that she still has feelings for him even though he is a giant DB.
