As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Wow it feels like yesterday that we did this...
Since summer is here in full swing (and high temps for alot of us) what is your favorite way to beat the heat?? (this was a siggy challenge that didn't win, so let's do it today!)

April 2010 Siggy Challenge: Next Vacation Destination
When it's to hot to do anything outside I love to go swimming.
Ahhh....
I WISH I had a pool!!!! But on a hot day, this is where I want to be. Toes in the sand, under the shade, with a book and some snacks.
THIS! Although even our pool has felt like a freakin bathtub lately so it's less than refreshing.

I'm gonna say head to the beach. It is always a lot cooler there then it is here in the valley!!
Sigh...I know what I'd love to be doing to beat the heat...on the beach in the Bahamas - where I was when this photo was taken! Maybe if I close my eyes and click my heels three times....
My book and strawberry daqueri seem to be missing from this photo but this looks like a good idea about now.
And this for me, too. Our next door neighbors have one and we're over there 2 or 3 times a week when it's that hot outside!!!
