You rub a lamp (oh baby!) and a Genie appears, offering three (3) wish fulfillments. If you could have anything FOR YOURSELF (no charity here!) right at this moment, and money wasn't an option, what would you wish for?

Re: 3 Wishes
A new car - seriously mine is going to die and I dont want to deal with that and a baby.
A new wardrobe including shoes- new body = clothes that dont fit and expensive babysitting bills.... no clothes for me.
A trip somewhere tropical all inclusive... I need one right now.
If the genie can't pay off our tiny amount of debt i'd want:
- A bigger house (about 2,000-2,500sf compared to the 1,050sf we have now).
- A new, bigger car (for the 3 carseats I have to fit in it).
- A makeover (hair cut, color, style, makeup, a few new outfits)
One: I would go back to school. I've been starting to do some research again, and I'm really going to make an effort to state my case to my husband and show him this is much more doable than he realizes... plus he liked graphs and charts. And it's something I've been wanting for a long time, so it would definitely be worth a wish.
Two: I would get my yard professionally landscaped. Why waste a wish on this you might ask? You haven't seen my front yard. The prior owners got rid of all of the grass and made it 100% mulch, and I hate it. We need one, if not both trees down, and I need grass. And bushes. There is no curb appeal the way it is now, and I shudder every time I may walk by the front of my house.
Three: I would ask for a personal motivator, chef, and trainer to help me on my weightloss journey. Sure WW is awesome and I've been doing great on it, but a lot of the time I'm going crazy with my lack of originality with recipes and laziness when it comes to keeping track of what I'm doing. I would love someone under my employ to just help me towards my goal, and then assist me in maintaining said goal until I feel comfortable I can do it myself.

1) I'd pay off my student loans. They suck. More than half of my salary goes there every month- our quality of life would be vastly improved if they didn't exist.
2) I'd have a house. I have exceptional house envy right now in my life.
3) I'd have the genie guarantee I'd be able to get pregnant easily. IDK how this is accomplished, but it'd be reassuring and we may be able to delay a bit if we knew it wouldn't be an issue.
Stand up for something you believe in.
1) A house. We live in a condo and although it does have 3 bedrooms, we don't have a yard.
2) A new car. Since I can't ask for something for anyone else, I'd take the new car and give J mine. His is fine but the AC is gone on it. I'm sure it's the compresser so that means $$$.
3) All my debt paid off ( student loans, car loan, mortgage, credit cards, $$ we owe to the RE, etc).
Dx: Hashimoto's Hypothyroidism After 2 years TTC & failed IUs,we have our IVF baby born 9/24/11

this, word for word. That's different than just asking for money, right?
2. for 20 lbs to vanish off of my body. And I'd be able to maintain it by working out minimally and eating whatever I want
3. to be able to quit my job and live off of SP and catering.
1. This house to be in our name (and paid off would be nice, but this is not money related), so even when we buy another one somewhere else, we can always come back to this one as our beach house.
2. A new car, Baby Blanco (my 96 olds) has had pretty much everything replaced at one point or another... I'm nervous about needing a new one in the next year or so... or we'll keep replacing things on him until the end of time...
3. I need to know what this baby's name is gonna be.
It is totally different because this is a specific purpose and gives specific joy.
Stand up for something you believe in.
1. For D to get a job that makes him happy and also happens to pay really, really well. And isn't in Northern VA.
2. A two-story 4 bedroom / 2.5 bath single family home w/ a basement on 1+ acre of land wherever that job happens to be.
3. Magical knowledge of everything I need to know to pursue the job I really want at my company, and thus be able to work remotely from my lovely home.
Yup, that'd be sweet.
1. Enough money to pay off our house/debt so I can be a SAHM.
2. A new car that is way easier to get a car seat into!
3. A complete house remodel

1.) All debt (mortgage, SL's, the little bit of CC's we have) to be *poof* gone!
2.) New cars all around.
3.) A bank account that always has money in it so I could quit my job, stay home with El, and play princesses all day long.
Our dream house: 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, lots of land on a quiet street, with a big garage for all H's work stuff and tools. Big kitchen/family room.
To be a college professor, and get paid well for it, even though I don't have my PhD. Or just to wake up with my PhD, so that I could get a good faculty position somewhere right away.
3 or 4 day work weeks, with same pay:)
1. All debt gone. Then we can afford a house, or at least a really, really nice apartment.
2. For Steve to find his direction in life, namely career. He really doesn't know what he wants to do, and feels like it's too late for him to figure it out.
3. The ability to pick winning lottery numbers.
1. My dream house. I want a big Victorian in the middle of nowhere. Lots of land. And it be totally free (no mortgage, no taxes, nothing).
2. For my debt to be magically gone (student loans, current mortgage, CCs)
3. To actually have my body look the way I want it to: lose 40 pounds, boobs reduced to a C, no squinty eye. And like Nooner said, I can maintain such a lovely figure by eating anything I want and minimal exercise. And a small clause to this one: after babies body goes back the way it was in 6 months.
