Northeast Phila Airport - I doubt you'll know the answer...
...but does anyone know if they have a visitor center or observation area? My toddler is enamored with airplanes and I thought this may be a good idea to take him to see the little planes come and go.
Thanks
God Bless our sweet baby James.

If you go to Fort Mifflin, you can see the planes coming and going.
ETA: Oh duh, I just re-read and see that you have in NE airport. Behind the airport (near the 8th district) there are soccer fields that you could probably go to and watch the planes.
They do not have a visitor center, but there is a general paking lot across from Atlantic Aviation that you can park in and watch the planes take off.
When you turn onto Ashton Road, follow it down to the stop sign and make a right. You'll see a parking lot on the right hand side. Depending on the day of the week, you'll probably see a bunch of elderly men with lawn chairs camped out as well-- I call them the "Junior Birdman Club"
