It's a day late, but I was just so busy yesterday. AND this is the second version. I was just about to press "post" on the first, and my computer decided to randomly shut down. (sigh)
So here's a little about the man I love. His name is Matt, and I call him Matti (my parents call him that too).
First and foremost, Matt is a goof through and through. He loves joking around, and is a sucker for corny groan-worthy puns. He's a big fan of practical jokes, has an enormous heart, and loves kitties.
Matt loves travelling, and his favourite place he's been so far is Thailand. He loves Germany, Finland and Japan too (having lived in the two latter countries). Truly, though, when we're not travelling, Matt prefers to just stay inside and work on his computer, play with kitty, or snuggle and watch movies.
Matti is from NE Pennsylvania originally, very near the town of Scranton (where the Office is supposed to be based). He has two younger sisters aged 19 and 23. He originally went to university for computer security, but changed his major to Business Management. Matti graduated in 2008 with his BA, and is going back to school this fall in Canada for Police Foundations. His big dream is to work for the FBI, but now that he's in Canada, it's to work for the RCMP (royal canadian mounted police). I will absolutely die of laughter and pride if I ever see him in a mounty uniform! haha!
Matt is a true computer geek, where 90% of his "hobbies" are computer-related and what most people would consider jobs. He owns a couple of servers, does web hosting, runs a few forums, loves fixing others' computers, etc. He works for Apple right now (which was hilarious when he first got the job, because he is a PC man). We own six computers total (three of which he built), and I'm not really sure why we have so many. When he's not dinking around on the computer, he loves skiing, biking, hiking, camping, and travelling.
Here are some pictures!
Here's Matt threatening me with a bamboo stick he found in the woods behind our house in Japan.

Re: Day late--sorry! My hubby Matt
awww you two are really cute together!!
did he know of an area called Forest City (up near Scranton too). My college roommate lives there, and it's a small cute little town.
and what the heck is poutine?! I keep hearing about it.
bloggity blog
Thanks for sharing! What a cool experience it must be for the both of you to travel all around together and share so many different cultures.
Ps, the wedding picture you included is really great, the trees in the background are amazing.

Believe it or not, he's from Forest City. Well actually his family's address was changed a year ago (911 address update or something) and it's now considered Clifford Township.
Poutine is the beautiful combination of french fries, cheese curds and brown gravy. It's considered the quintessential Canadian comfort food, invented by our beloved French Canadians. The cheese curds (squeeky cheese) is what makes it. You can't just substitute any old cheese in there. Om nom nom.
Thanks for all the compliments everyone! And those trees are Japanese maples.

haha yeah. It is one of the few normal photos I have of him where he isn't pulling a face. We were in thailand at the time, and just sat down to order some brekkie.
