for those ladies TTGP...

I know firsthand how friggin' expensive pregnancy tests can be. Right now on www.coupons.target.com there is a coupon you can print off for $2.00 off First Response pregnancy tests, any count. Additionally, if you're a keeper of the coupons inside of the pregnancy tests, you might also have on hand the $1.00 off coupon from the manufacturer as well. Target's 2 count pregnancy tests by First Response are $7.99 so with these coupons you can get 2 for $4.99, in case you're interested!

Love you all - just when I thought I could be more active on here I went and got a part-time job and they gave me more hours than I asked for. I have a feeling things aren't going to be working out there...bummer...hope all is well!

love, jenifriend

Re: for those ladies TTGP...

  • good luck with the part time job! I hope the hours get a little better. Where are you working?
  • I got a job at Maurices, and I really love the people there and their "message" as a company. My concern, though, is that I asked for no more than 20 hours and this week I'm working 30. With a full-time Photography job, this has KILLED me this week. Additionally, I just received word that my RCIA classes (to become a Catholic) will begin on September 18th and will run every Sunday until after Easter from 9:00am-11:00am. Maurices has an expectation that you work at least one Sunday a month from open to close, 10-7. I wouldn't be able to do this for almost a year because of my RCIA requirement, which means they would either 1. never schedule me on a Sunday or 2. have someone else work for a couple of hours and allow me to arrive around noon. I've already asked for flexibility on Saturdays because it's my busiest Photography day each week, with it being ideal for working parents. I know they have a business to run, and I'm thinking this may not be the job for me as much as I want it to be. My obligations are unavoidable; ideally I would love to get a job that allows me to work morning/early afternoon a couple of times a week about 15-20 hours. I'm having terrible trouble finding something though because I'm overqualified according to my resume - I just hate the idea of dumbing it down, you know?

  • Just wanted to say "hi" and I hate how retail jobs required you to work weekends.  Hopefully they are able to accommodate your schedule and actually listen to you!

    I miss and love you!

  • Just when I thought I couldn't love you more you went and got a job at my favorite place to get clothes! : ) Too bad they are overloading you though!!! Hopefully you can all get it to work out! I would work there just to have my paycheck go towards my nasty little shopping addiction I have developed in the last year...oops...
