small watermelon as a beverage holder
Anyone ever done this or seen this done.
I was thinking doing something like this as opposed to using a pineapple. An putting fruity drink inside for the ladies at my summer party.
Also, I was thinking of using the watermelon from the inside to make this salad.

It sounds like a pain in the butt for multiple reasons. It would be difficult to find that many watermelons that would sit flat, or people would have to hold them the entire night. And, it sounds like a lot of work that doesn't really seem worth it.
