Neutrogena Naturals?
Just wondering if anyone has tried/has thoughts about this new line. They claim, "No petrochemicals, parabens, phthalates, chemical sulfates or dyes." I'm very happy with my current face products, but I'm always looking for other options to try...
The line is not yet rated by ewg.com, but I did a quick search of the ingredients in the face wash. Highest rated ingredient is "Cocamidopropyl Betaine" which is a 5. Buuuuuut, it also contains fragrance, which I almost always avoid for fear of phthalates, but since it claims "no phthalates," I wonder if the fragrance is safe. Thoughts?

I am not sure exactly how natural it actually is but I tried the purifying facial cleanser when I ran out of my other and actually LOVE it. I am using less moisturizer as well.
Your idea about the phthalates sounds right -- how could they say it doesn't have any if it does... but the inclusion of fragrances makes you wonder. I don't know.
The company conducts animal testing, so that's one reason i stay away from them.

Hi, I'm normally just a Green lurker, but I wanted to offer up that the fragrance free facial bar neutrogena naturals soap and it really messed up my face for about 2 weeks. I usually give any change of body/face soap a few tries before deciding on it, but this dried me out really badly, and I have well balanced skin otherwise. I'm still a lush fan, their angels on bare skin is the best thing I've found, but it's expensive so I tried NN for a change. Good luck with it though!
This is exactly what I was going to say. I try to use things that I know are much more natural but I was out of town and ran out of my normal cleanser so I went to CVS and this was the best I could come up with. I didn't expect much at all and ended up really loving it. I haven't decided if I'll re-buy it only because I try to use more organic, natural, cruelty free products. But in a pinch, I was very happy with it!

Ugh, I bought a bottle of the liquid face wash and I should have smelled it before purchasing. The fragrance is so strong and so artificial, I couldn't even use it. I remember he back of the bottle said that 95% of the ingredients were from natual sources but the fragrance was not.
I was also unaware they tested on animals so I will not be purchasing any more of their products.
