embarrassingly dumb moment...

SO my phone and fax lines weren't working yesterday and i called time warner and they said there was an outage in the area. that was annoying since i couldn't send/receive faxes or calls at work due to no dial tone. This morning i come in and find that my fax line is working and its just the phone that doesn't have a dial tone. I call up time warner again and they say there isn't an outage anymore so they will send someone out. This was at 10am. The guy finally comes at 4pm. Imagine my embarrassment when we look and see in the first 2 minutes that he is here, that the issue is because my phone line wasn't plugged in to the phone... YIKES. i guess i unplugged it yesterday during the outage and forgot to plug it back in. I bet that guy thinks I'm the dumbest person ever!
