Ahh, what the heck....

I'm feeling one of those "ask me anything" moments too.

So go ahead - whoever's here over the weekend - ask me anything!  :)

Where is your next vacation going to be? Or if you don't have one planned yet, where would you like to go? Hopefully to Chicago in May for my 40th birthday!!!  Road trips next year then saving for a cruise in 2013.  :)

What is your favorite piece of kitchen equipment/ tool/ etc? I LOVE my santoku knife!!!  And the mandoline slicer is pretty cool, too.

Are you still friends with people from high school?  Yep!  2 of them are still some of my very best friends.  A lot of the others I got back in touch with after my 20 year reunion last year but we're more like facebook acquaintances.

If you could go back to school for anything, what would it be? I'd get a masters in finance since I've been working in the field for 12 years and my BA is in Psychology.

I think the way my motherly instincts kicked in, despite my choice not to have children of my own.  I always want to see what's best for my SD and try to keep her in the right path.  It's nice that DH and her BM and I can all work as a team with her, too.

What's your favorite meal to cook? eat?  I love cooking period!!!  I always enjoy trying new meals and casseroles but I think the chicken paprikash is my favorite one to make because Amanda LOVES it, and since there's so many ingredients I make it a "special treat."  [in fact, we went to a Hungarian restaurant a few weeks ago; she and I both had the chicken paprikash and she told me it was good but she still liked mine better!]  :)

As far as what I love to eat the most, I'd say any kind of pasta dish, pizza, filet mignon and sushi (spicy California rolls).

Do you have an hobbies? Cooking, traveling, biking, swimming, photography and working out (which I've become so much better at lately!!).

What do you miss most about not being able to nest during the day?

I feel out of the loop.  I miss being able to wish everyone well on their success stories on a more timely basis.  At least I've been on more in the evenings but I still feel like I'm a step behind everyone else.  :(

  • What is your favorite thing about living in Michigan?

If you could live an any state which would you choose?

What is your favorite thing about living in Michigan? The seasons.  Snow on Christmas and colors in the fall.  I don't like the 90+ humid heat so by this time of year I'm ready for fall - jeans, sweaters, fires in the pit....and of course by the time January rolls around I'm ready for spring.  :)

If you could live an any state which would you choose?  I never seem to want to leave Florida when I visit; but because of my dislike for the high heat, if I were to leave Michigan I'd say Pennsylvania.  They still have the seasons and 90% of my cousins live in Pittsburgh. I only get to see them once or twice a year & would love to be closer to them.
