Umm....so I went to this reunion....

It was technically my 19th- I went as a girlfriend's date. Her DH was out of town, and I'm friends with everyone sooo....

And I got a little tipsy. Okay, so we all got smashed. And I was talking to this guy I had a crush on when I was 15. I was a little flirty, but I love my husband dearly, and never would have been inappropriate. So the guy FB's me the next day, and mentions that, oh yeah, many years ago, he worked with my husband (and possibly me). AWKWARD!!!! So I'm scrolling through his friend list to find, that, he is friends with my ex-husband. And may very well know my daughter.

The older I get, the smaller my world becomes.....

I don't know why I'm sharing this exactly, except that it's kind of funny as hell, and reminds me how small we really are....Happy 1991!

Re: Umm....so I went to this reunion....

  • This weekend...and I'm missing it...is my 35th high school reunion.  My high school boyfriend's sister lives about a half mile from me, which I didn't know til facebook!

    I'm old.....

My baby girl is a married woman...and now my baby girl HAS a baby girl. Time unfolds in such an amazing way. I've been blessed!
  • Muffin's Mom - when I was 16 I would have said you are old. Now that I'm in my final year of my 20's, I would just say you are experienced :). Funny how perspective changes, huh?

And Karma - it is CRAZY how small the world is. I think things like Facebook just make it more obvious.

  • lol...it's a small world after all.... Big Smile

This year was my 40th high school reunion.  I missed it.  I am amazed, though, about the number of friends from grade school who have turned up on my Facebook.
