Anyone grow pink banana squash?
I have a big one (18"?) growing right now & don't know if I should pick it or let it wait a few more weeks. I'm actually thinking of entering it into our local contest, and I'm hoping it'll wait until the beginning of September, but I don't want to wait and have it go bad/unusable.
I accidentally picked a smaller one, thinking it was a regular summer squash, but we haven't eaten it yet. I understand the big ones are more like a butternut squash (which I love) so I can't wait.
