? with making baby food and using milk

Re: ? with making baby food and using milk

  • Like everything else, watch for an allergic reaction the first few times she has it but yes, it's fine.  According to my pedi the main reason the AAP says "no milk" until after a year is because people are dumb and would think it's ok to give cow's milk INSTEAD of formula or breastmilk, and it's not an adequate substitute.
My big boy is bounding towards 3! Hoping to add a sibling. image Hipster dog is not impressed.
  • I wouldn't worry about it.  I know your supply is lower but when I made things for DD that called for milk I actually used BM.  DH even (knowingly) ate a BM blueberry muffin.
