I had 10 meals planned for the next 2 weeks but DH started vetoing while we were grocery shopping so I've got to redo my plan.
Hamburgers, hot dogs, mac n cheese, and sweet potato fries
Breakfast
Chicken kiev
Lasagna
Pasta carbonara
Frozen pizza (Has to be a quick dinner, so I figured that would be easy to cook)
Monday - Mexican crockpot chicken
Tuesday - Pulled pork/salad
Wednesday - Grilled chicken & bell pepper kabobs
Thursday - Hamburgers/sweet potato fries
Friday - JAGS GAME!
Saturday - Whateverthefuck I want because it's my birthday!
This sounds awesome. Could you post/email the recipe?
Super easy. Three or four boneless/skinless chicken breasts, jar of salsa, half block of cream cheese. Crockpot on low all day while you're at work. Last time I made it, we had it over just a little rice topped with shredded cheese.
I throw in a can of black beans and/or corn sometimes. You know, to keep things exciting.
I'm a crock pot idiot... Should the chick breasts be frozen or thawed? How big a can of salsa? And do you add corn beans when you get home, or from the start.
I now at least have one night planned. haha
Either. Any size. From the start. Or when you get home then cook low low for 30 minutes or so?
Crockpot cooking is very relaxed. lol
ok. telling the scientist to shut up. haha.
I'm unnaturally excited to try this, for the record.
Tonight: grilled chicken thighs
Monday: eggplant parmesan (I have an eggplant in my garden that needs to be picked) & some sort of pasta
Tuesday: venison tenderloin, mashed potatoes with gravy and salad
Wednesday:grilled boneless country ribs smothered in bbq sauce (not sure of the side)
Thursday: deer burgers and potato wedges
Friday: tacos
Saturday: no idea
Taco salads - Morningstar Farms Crumbles in taco seasoning; cheese; salad mix
Leftover cilantro lime flank steak & salad
Morningstar Farms Corn dogs & steamed veggies
Grilled chicken, veggies & quinoa
DH think he's gotten fat, so we're on a diet. He's finally on board with not saying "Hey, let's just get pizza" & eating healthy.
This week I got a white board and hung it up on the fridge just for meal planning. Go me.
M - Grilled chicken w onion and pepper kabobs, roasted asparagus.
T - Fish, saut?ed squash and zucchini, creamy pearl onions
W - Dinner at a friend's house
R - Going out to eat
F - Dinner at the in-laws
OK, so I guess this is a short week of plans, but at least it's all up on the board.
