Random Mid Year Resolution

So in my madness to get my house organized I have made a resolution to burn all of the random candles that people have given me.  I haven't bought a candle in over a year for myself b/c I guess being a girl, people figure it's an easy gift.

My only caveat is no holiday candles unless it's the holiday.  DH would kill me if he's smelling christmas cookie in august, lol!

I need to do this too.  I don't burn them much during the spring and summer because of all the fans going.

I have been trying to be better about this since cleaning out my candle drawer a few months ago.

I just found a bunch I didn't know I had. Looks like there will be more candles going in our house too!

I did a pretty good job at burning most of mine down. I do need to just toss some random not my style ones that I have in a drawer though. I had a candle party and got a ton free but it wasn't all ones that I liked.

Even when my sister visited, I gave a bunch to her, but I've still got plenty.  I threw one out yesterday, it wasl almost to the bottom and pulled out an apple one that was 1/2 burned.

DH was like "apple in summer" and I'm like, deal with it, it's not apple spice, it's just plain apple.

Lol, it's kind of funny to hear a guy think of that. When I point things out like that Nick just shrugs his shoulders and doesn't get what the big deal is.

I agree, just plain apple is fine in the summer.

Andrew doesn't have a particular time that he prefers scents. He just notices if it smelss nice. I don't think he could name a scent if his life depended on it.
