My husband and I just relocated to Anchorage from Indiana about a week-and-a-half ago. We're pretty outdoorsy people and have been curious about some good camping/fishing/hiking locations in the area. Any recommendations?

Re: New to AK
Hi! I'm not from AK, but hang out here a little with a couple of the destination wedding girls who live there. I'm sure they'll have advice for you.
I'm from Indiana... I thought our winters were bad, but AK? Wow!!

Mrs. Streff - I am from Alaska and I brought my friends to this board with me. If you don't like it - move on. I can't stand people being so ridiculous over a board. Get over it.
i really could careless, i just like making a big deal of it... wow... it would be nice for you guys to have your own board though because others brides/wives can find you guys:)
Well just so you are aware, you come off as a major f*ing b*tch. I kind of get the feeling from your little escapades on this and other boards that the impression is correct. I understand there isn't a lot of people in AK so maybe it's just a social issue from not dealing with women very often.
