Mmm...I wish I did. I could go for some bake goods.
I could have hit snooze a hundred times this morning. But I only did once.
I baked last Wednesday.
Made a loaf of zucchini bread.
Andy and I each had a slice.
Then Thursday night Toby had the rest of the loaf.
Made blueberry buckle this weekend. Pretty good!
Also, new obsession not tried yet: banana bread french toast...
He's not very good at sharing.

I had a great time at Dining in the Vines. Food was great,wine was great, and it was fun catching up with old friends.

I've been in a cooking/baking mood lately too. I think it's because of all the fresh fruits and vegetables. In the past week I've made: blueberry freezer jam, homemade marinara sauce, a big batch of black beans to freeze, and granola.
Good friends of ours had a baby yesterday. I'm super excited for them. They are the first of our close friends to have kids. The baby is yet unnamed though, and I'm dying to find out what they decide to name her.
Right now I am doing ok. Best test will be after wk.

I'm not sure how it is Monday already! Is it possible I skipped the weekend?
In 2 1/2 weeks we have freshman orientation for SS at Coopersville HS. I wish I would get the list of what he needs for school.
Is he ready for HS?
I don't think we have any real way to prepare him for what's coming. We've told him what to expect. LOTs and Lots of homework and waking up earlier than he has in years. It won't matter until it is really happening for him. We will see. I do know that this year he will have a LOT of homework from what I've heard from other parents there.
My freedom and life of leisure is coming to an end! Pre-orientation starts on Wednesday. The last two weeks have flown by.
