I finally had time to write up Wyatt's birth story in between feedings. It's in my baby blog if you're interested (click the link below). I want to warn you that it's super long!
I hope everyone is having a fabulous day!
Re: Wyatt's Birth Story
I am super jealous of your minimal damage... I think I am scarred literally for life. I had a third degree pushing a 4th degree... UGH.
Beautiful story. I hope everything is going well for you and that cute bundle of joy!
Thanks for sharing! I'm always so glad to read positive and encouraging birth stories! I hope mine goes as well as yours did!
And you looked fantastic after giving birth, btw!

OMG he is SO CUTE. SQUISH.
I am also jealous of your minimally damaged vag. Mine will never be the same!
Motherhood really agrees with you - you look great right after birth!
Thanks for sharing, he's too cute.
I know right!?! Between my high blood pressure and and the fluid from being induced, I looked like a balloon!
Great birth story! It is scary to me how similar our experiences were!
And I LOVE the name Wyatt
Thanks for sharing that, Kristen! Sorry the first epidural didn't take -- like you, one of my friends had a problem with only the left side of her body going numb, but moving her didn't help the right side numb up at all!
And only 20 minutes of pushing...you are one lucky girl, that's all I can say.
I'm glad you weren't scared to pee either, I had to pee right afterwards too and I was terrified. (It wasn't bad, I built it up to be way worse than it was.)
Anyway, I think it's awesome that you felt that intense love right away for Wyatt. Some women don't feel the "connection" right away, myself included. It's great that you had such an awesome experience right off the bat. Congrats again!
Great story! I also had high BP towards the end and had my membranes stretched and luckily I also went into labor. I'm so glad you had such a positive experience. You and Glen are so blessed
PS: I envy you for having the energy to post with a newborn by your side.
