Grit on Hardwoods?

Hi Everybody!

Recently moved from a carpeted home to one that has only hardwoods. I am obviously doing something wrong- I keep sweeping, but am constantly feeling grit from the floor.  Suggestions to keep the floors grit free?  Swiffer- wet or dry?  Wet mop at night?

Any tips/ suggestions welcome!  I am losing my mind, lol!!!

Re: Grit on Hardwoods?

  • A dry swiffer should work well for daily clean up. I use the stick with microfiber cloths cut to the right size so I can wash and reuse them.

I also have a Dyson Animal I use once a week or more if it's windy.
