Ok, a friend from high school that I rodeoed with just won Miss Rodeo Nebraska, and they start their year after the NFR in December, so her coronation is in January. She just sent me an email asking if I would be willing to make a quilt for the auction at her coronation! I'm so excited! I've never been asked to do something like this before, so I'm totally honored. I'm thinking westerny/cowboy fabrics with a classic quilt pattern. Any ideas/thoughts? Out LQS has a great classy western line that I could go with, but I'm lost with pattern ideas. I was thinking a twin sized quilt, for a throw on a couch for the size.

That's awesome. I just bought some bandana style fabric- let me see what it was called.
ETA: Daydream by Stitch Studios is the line. The one I got was called "Carmel Bandana" and it is really Texas Longhorn Orange with yellow and pale blue accents. I like it, it is kind of unexpected (of only I didn't have to mix it with mint green for the quilt I'm doing to match someone's nursery- vom).
Stand up for something you believe in.
