  • Yay!!! Big Smile

It's our first Christmas as a married couple and we are so excited to start our own holiday traditions this year. He's allergic to pine so I'm on the hunt for an artificial tree (I've always had live pine before) and ornaments and decorations. I can't wait!!!

We didn't have a lot of ornaments and decorations (or much of a budget for them!) the first year we were married, so I broke out a bunch of the wedding decor that I had saved-- pew bows, bells, tulle, etc. and made them into ornaments for the tree.

     What a sweet idea!!!

  • Super excited too! This is our first since we bought our first house, have a brand new baby neice, have a sweet little 1.5 year old Border Collie/Lab mix who has never had a home before we adopted her in March (so its her first Christmas too) and we're hosting because we have plenty of space with just the three of us.

We're getting our fireplace inspected in October, we'll get a real tree, do the Alton Brown turkey and brine for dinner, its gonna be awesome.
