August is kicking my butt
I know I've been b!tching about this apartment thing all up and down facebook and twitter and everything else, so my apologies. I'm just one, big pineapple today.
Right now I've started looking for short term apartments just for September to give us another month to look. It would mean we would have to move twice, but if we have to do that anyway I'd rather we're not squeezing in with my family. It would be free, but it would be an enormous hassle for them and for us. We have to put all this damn furniture somewhere, and a short term rental seems like a possible choice. Who knows. So now I'm looking for two apartments.
A million small things are going wrong this month and I feel like I've been on edge for weeks. The school didn't get as many international students as they thought they would have, so they cancelled one of my fall semester classes. Since I get paid by the class, that stings. DH is working all the time since I wasn't able to get a summer job, so he's home at most one day a week and can't help me with this apartment stuff. And I've had something in my eye for an hour now and it is driving me CRAZY!
Ok, August has to end eventually. And this will be finished with one way or another!
