New to the area--looking for stuff to do
Hi Ladies! I just moved to Pinellas Park August 5th and was looking for some things to do after school and weekends. I'm teaching with Pinellas County School District in St. Petersburg, and I'm really excited to have my own classroom. TIA for the suggestions.

Welcome! I moved to St. Pete 7 years ago to teach for Pinellas County schools. I have since moved to Tampa and teach for Hillsborough now.
If you like figure skating, there is actually an ice rink not far from Pinellas Park. It's in the ICOT center of Clearwater, I can't recall the name but I've been skating there before.
Also, if you like cheap, check out some of the beach bars.. you can go hang out there and enjoy the sunset for free. When I first moved down, we used to go all the time to Jimmie B's on St. Pete Beach and listen to live music.
Also, you can get discounts with your teaching id card or pay stub. Ask some of the teachers at your school, I think there is a website for it in Pinellas - I know we have one in Hillsborough.
