PsIP: My productive afternoon

We are in the middle of a snowstorm here so I was able to scrap some pages for my family scrapbook album today and thought I would share.

Re: PsIP: My productive afternoon

  • Those look great!

Random question... The news mentioned that this is the first snow in 30 years in some areas of NZ.  How much snow is on the ground for it to be a snowstorm? Do you have several inches of snow on the ground or do flurries send everyone into a panic? Where I live we get a lot of snow in the winter, so we're used to driving in it. When I was in college, the kids from FL put on winter coats when it got below 60F. :)

  • I like those pages.

I was wondering where snow was in the US until I saw you were in NZ :) Hopefully it will let up.

    Awesome job!

Yeah, the THREAT of a slight chance of flurries sends everyone into a panic in the south.

So do I and I live in the NE Embarrassed

Nice scrapbook!  I am envious of people who can do this.  I have no vision.  Or time.

  • Nice.  I like seeing others pages.  I haven't posted any of mine in awhile, but half the time I feel like I'm the only one that posts them.  Lol.

I hate wearing a coat and put it off as long as possible. If the high is going to be more than 40F, regardless of the temp in the morning, I wear my fleece Columbia jacket or a hooded sweatshirt.

I had to laugh because I'm from S. Florida and live in Chicago, but am getting ready to move back to S. Florida and can't wait to laugh at people wearing jackets during the "winter"...

We are in the South Island of NZ so we are more used to snow- our last big ones were 2008 and then about two weeks ago. There was a lot of snow, my whole driveway was covered and it was up to my thighs when I ventured out. Plus the high winds didn't help as it whipped the snow around- it has basically snowed for three days straight now. However, a lot of people in NZ do panic with snow, especially in the North Island where they haven't had snow in 3 years, so everyone has just been at home and doesn't want to drive. I used to live in Chile and also further down south in NZ so I am used to snow.
