Hey ladies!!
Sorry for the long delay! Thats right, I can officially say that I'm a mommy!!
I love it more than anything! One thing I have learned that it is so important to go into a new situation with an open mind. I found this out because of my labor.
I was induced Wednesday night because of my blood pressure still being extremely high.I went in Wednesday night and around 6pm they started cervadel (not sure how to spell it lol). By 2 in the morning my contractions started and were pretty regular. Around 1 that afternoon the doctors had to break my water and after that my contractions were extremely intense. I waited until about 3 and got an intrathecal. It only lasted 2 hours which was fine because I didnt want a lot of pain meds. I just needed that little break to keep my focus. After 2 hours it started wearing off and my doctor came and checked me and said I was 10cm! Wahoo! She said when I had that urge to push to let her know. Well an hour went by with nothing. She came back to check me and I had went from 10cm to 8cm. The baby's head turned and my cervix started to swell. The doc said once this happens it normally doesn't change and we waited to see and after 3 hours I went to the OR for a c-section. Our little girl was born on Aug 11th at 10:06pm!
I have to say that my entire experience was amazing! I now have this beautiful little girl who I couldnt love any more! Now were enjoying time at home and sleep lol. Thanks so much ladies for being a great group of friends! So heres a picture I wanted to share ![]()
