my frenemies wedding is next month.....she wore a very white dress at my wedding. should i wear my wedding gown to hers?

 

anybody else have some frenemy stories?

I never got the whole frenemies thing. Either you're a friend or an enemy, but why the catty I'll like you to your face, but not behind your back?

At the point I'm at in my life, I just don't have time or desire to deal with drama. If I like you then we're cool, but if I don't then that's cool too, but I'm not going to go out of my way for you...ever, but I will be cordial.

I have a frenemy co-worker. She also wore white to my wedding. Of course, she's an old bat who thinks her dog is her child (no offense to pet parents, I've been a pet parent too and understand how it feels - but this woman goes WAY over the top with her dog) and smells like moth balls. She is also the WORST housekeeper in the world, and I swear she's a hoarder. That, and I'm her supervisor, and yet she tries to act like she's my supervisor. Beeyotch, I don't think so.

Can you tell I don't like her much? LOL

i wouldn't say we're enemies, i don't even dislike her...we've just been at a head to head competition since we were 5 years old. she was the only other chinese girl at my school, so my parents compared me to her our whole lives. she always had better grades than me and was the 'good' girl, and my parents wanted me to be just like her. i definitely don't hate her, it's just that we're not bff, and we only see each other for birthdays or less every year.

i feel like our friendship is pointless, since even when we see each other, we have nothing to say to each other, but we feel obligated to see each other since we're each others "first friends", and we were definitely bff throughout elementary school.

ETA: this is the girl that asked me how big my diamond was, then got engaged 2 months later with .01 carats bigger than mine. competition much?

life isn't a competition and that would get old quick. some one who always wants to one up you isn't any one i'd like to be around. i can't believe people wore white to your weddings! skanks! that is unacceptable behavior. i couldn't stand to be 'friends' or anything with that girl or anyone like them.

 If I were you I would wear a white dress that had some kind of colored print, AND that showed off your new ginormous bewbies.  That way, you aren't being as bad as she was.

I am ashamed to admit that I wore a white dress to a wedding once.  I was 20 and didn't know better (seriously).  I take comfort in the fact that it was a small (but lovely) church wedding in the country in Oklahoma of a very good friend of mine and it was a shorter summery dress.  I hope she wasn't offended.

And a side note rant, does it really matter if someone else wears white to a wedding? I mean, yeah, yeah, I get the tradition and all, but come on! Who's going to mistake someone for the bride? Omgeeeee, who's the bride?! I don't know!

TBH i've worn white to a wedding too, but i was about 13..and (obv) didn't know any better.

i've never heard of no-white at a wedding until i was on TK, and my friend wasn't engaged yet at the time, so i bet she just didn't know any better also (i was one of the "first" to get married out of our friends). i wasn't offended, i just thought it was funny that she didn't know any better (since we've always been at competition with one another...i felt "smarter" )

The one on the right is wearing a more "pure" white, so she must be the Bride

DEF wear something that shows off the bewbies and makes you look like glorious fecund goddess of childbearing!
