what say the Nesties about healing blisters?
I have a new pair of Reebok Toners (not bc I think they are suddenly going to make my legs and butt Beyonce-worthy, but bc they were on sale and I needed a new pair of walking shoes). They clearly rub me the wrong way.
I am trying different insoles and heel inserts to make the shoes fit differently but meanwhile... I've got some bad boy blisters on both heels which means I am having trouble wearing cute new sandals.(bandaids are not sexy.)
So - John says Liquid Bandaid stuff works for him. My daughter says the special blister Bandaids worked for her. I am hitting up Giant after work bc I have a work trip tmw-Friday and need to not be sporting bandaids with my cute work footwear.
What's your tried and true method?
Re: blister help?
Me too.
Also, I wore the crap out of my first pair of Reebok Toning shoes to the point that the heel padding all wore away- I stuck one of those black foamy padding strips onto it and it worked surprisingly well, so if it is a shoe specific problem in a limited area, I'd alter the shoe.
Stand up for something you believe in.
thanks, guys - this should be a sponsored post so we all got paid!
(and now I know what to buy at Giant tonight....:)

I too agree that blister band-aids rock.
And I have a preventative question: do you wear socks designed for walking/running? I usually get mine at a running store and they're like $9-$11 a pair. I started buying them in 2004 when I did the Avon Walk and I haven't had a blister since.

Dear MamaPam,
Ew. That's the WORST. For preventative care, you may want to pick up some Moleskin. When I was working and had to wear "real" shoes, I kept a role/sheet of this stuff at work, car, home, etc. I'm pretty sure I have used it as blister care too, but primarily preventative care. It's pretty amazing. I can't remember if I find it near first aid stuff, Dr Sholl insert stuff or blister stuff.
